Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

It looks like a house now, huh?! That's little Brockston in that second pic.
He loves to go to the new house and talk to the builders.
He thinks they are sooooo cool! I happen to agree.
They are really nice...and fast!!
As we speak,(I know, we aren't really speaking)
they are doing the plumbing, finishing up the framing, and
putting all the vents in for heating & cooling.
~I'm used to being warmin the winter, my summers
will be a little more pleasant with AC.~
My kitchen is all marked out and I can visualize it even better.
Even now I feel like I'm talking about someone else's house, not mine.
I think I will be in shock even when I'm moved in for a while.
So there's an update on my beautiful pile of sticks!

EAD Designs Anniversary!!!

Okay...here they are! My new summer rub ons! Ya...I'm ready for summer. Not the hot, but no school. This time of year gets so crazy with everything that's going on, no school sounds very appealing.

So...do you want to win these? Okay, go to E.A.D. Designs Blog and become a follower, then come back here and leave me a comment. I'll pick a winner tomorrow...you know, in my spare time! I will have a winner chosen by random.org by midnight tomorrow, the 14th. Hey, don't rush me!

These new rub ons are sooooo fabulous because they don't break apart like regular rub ons, you can color in them and stay in the lines, (yes when I color, I am 4 all over again, I can't stay in the lines) AND they are cheap! Not the quality, obviously, but the cost! The sheet they come on is big! Everytime I get some new one's, I'm shocked at how big the sheet is for just $5.99. I cannot say enough good about them! And I don't have time to, so this works out great for everyone!!

So if you don't win...go buy them. There's soooo many choices and more to come.

Okay... ready, set, GO!

Never a Dull Moment

Brockston and Avrie got their pics taken recently because they had birthdays.
Avrie walks around 95% of her day with the "ooo" look. She can even whistle accidentally. I was very excited to have a picture of that! She didn't want to sit still so we tried a little diversion with the sunglasses.
And then there's Brockston. There were more funny pics than good framing pics...he's too much! Just so you know...he made those faces on purpose.
I just got back from the movies with Stacy. We went to
"17 again" I loved it! Go see it when you get a chance. Very fun!
Anyway, she took these pics. She's such a good friend and I love that my kids can be natural around her...otherwise we wouldn't have been able to capture this!
I still don't know how to make my words and pics look like I know what I'm doing. Whatever! You get the idea!

Foundation, Hulk and Trouble

Here is our foundation! Framing starts next week! Yea!!
Also...the Incredible Hulk stopped by our house. What a character!
And then there's Avrie. Do you think she wants to get down?

Can you dig it?

This is it! It's really happening! They got it all excavated Thursday and the footings put in Friday. Tomorrow they will pour the foundation and have the basement floor in by the end of the week. Now all of this is probably boring to some of you, but for me this is my new house! I can't believe we are actually building a new house and we will actually live there! It hasn't ever been real and now it's real!
So for now, I'm enjoying my last few months in my tiny, little house and look forward to my new bigger house that we can all sit down at the table and eat together and Avrie will sleep in her own bed. Ya, you read that right. We have no room! And let's not forget 2 BATHROOMS upstairs...when the basement is finished...3. I will not even know what to do with myself!
So...to be continued.

Nothin' Really

Last weekend we went took the front-runner (cheaper and faster to drive by the way) to the Planetarium in Salt Lake. It wasn't very big and only had a few things to look at, but they had fun. The kids walked on the Moon and Mars. I have other pics but this is the only one with all 4 of them.
We also watched a 3-D movie called Under the Sea and it was so cool. We loved it!
The 2 pics of Avrie were just cute! The last one is a little blurry but I loved it!

And last but definatly not least...we are closing tomorrow and digging on Thursday!!! I don't think I could begin to express how excited I am!!! Three exclamation points doesn't even cover it!!! I have my 8x8 scrapbook decorated and ready to fill with pictures of the whole process! Super excitement coming from me!

Birthday Girl

Thanks to Dana & Pete for taking these pictures. These were taken on Sunday the 5th. We had cake with Glade's family and an easter egg hunt. She is a lot of fun these days; making new sounds, getting into things that are higher up, (she can reach things on the table...like bowls that have milk left in them from breakfast) and she especially likes the keyboard and mouse. She has the cutest little laugh and a super fun smile. I sure love my little moving trouble maker!

My baby is 1

Can you believe my baby is 1? It is hard to remember her being that tiny. She was such a fussy baby that I hardley got any sleep, so that time in her life was kind-of a blur.
But now she is sleeping well and is EVERYWHERE! None of my other kids were walking on their first birthday but she is all over the place. I think Heavenly Father saved her for the last because He knew I wouldn't have any more after her. She's SO busy!
Even though she is overwhelming, I wouldn't want to live without her! I love her so much!
So Happy Birthday Avrie! We love having you in our family!
(I'll post birthday pics later)

Thanks Dana!

You know those little crocheted flowers you can buy at the scrapbook store for about $1 a piece? My SIL, Dana, taught me how to make them on Sunday. I love them. And now I know how to make them. I just love learning how to do new stuff. I actually took a crocheting class at JoAnn's a couple months ago and the other ladies that took the class were grandma's and kinda looked at me funny. I felt like they were wondering why I was there.

Anyway, Dana has a web site where she sells hair clippies and stuff using those flowers and some other super cute stuff. So if you want some, check out her site Here

Can you tell which one was my first one...I can!
