Ava Poo

Avrie Bear's first Spaghetti experience. As you can see, she loved eating it and playing with it. Man, she is growing up so fast! She is into EVERYTHING that she shouldn't and sometimes plays with the things that she should.

My little piece of Heaven

Isn't it beautiful? I just love to go down now and sit in my scrapbook room. I am all organized and now I can actually find things and get something done!
*So...the first pic is of my work space. Yep, I get the whole table all to myself. Unless Brockston wants to scrapbook with me, then he takes over the whole table. It's as if he was a born scrapper. It seems like that's how most people scrap. We need lots of space. There are actually a couple things on the table in this pic that need to be put away.
*Next we have my new chipboard letter system that was taken from my organizing book. I rarely have an original idea. I bought the little drawers at Walmart for $12.
*The 3rd pic is my magnet board that I made (pat, pat, pat...as in on the back) and I bought the tin containers at IKEA where-in are stored my brads; color coodinated. I have a couple things in other containers (Stampin Up! accessories...if you want anything, call me...I'll give you my discount) I just hot glued magnet strips on the back of them to make 'em stick to the board. I am a genius!
*And my most recent splurge is the clip it up organizer you see in pic number 4. It was a bit pricey (is that how you spell it) but I think well worth it. I have tons of ribbon on cardstock like spools, only not spools. You see them on the top...Sei and Stampin Up sells some like this. I also have a ton of ribbon that I bought just by the yard. So I wrapped them around cardboard strips by color and it looks cool if I do say so myself. I have also stored all of my rub-ons on the bottom tier, along with some chipboard shapes and stickers. It is a great storage system and allows me to keep a lot of things within reach and visable.
*Last but most definatly not the least are my fabulous paper storage racks and my new and improved flower jars. The paper is sorted by theme or time of year on one side and since I buy SEI at wholesale, I have the other side sorted by their individual lines. Next to my paper racks are my punches stored in the drawers. I am going to stick a punched item on front of the drawer that the punch lives so I know which drawer each punch is in.
I know...I am indeed wonder woman. I'm not going to tell you how long it took me to get this far. I'm going to let you all think that I did all this in a single afternoon!

Busy Brockston

Brockston has 3 friends: Woody, George and Georgie. Woody is obvious. George is the brown gorilla, and Georgie is the orange orangatan. We have to be quiet when they are still sleeping in the morning. He takes very good care of his friends. You can see in the picture that he makes a little bed for them on the floor and puts them to bed. He also found my camera and took a pic of his computer game. Funny Boy!

Did you think I died?

Nope, I didn't die. But some days I wanted to. Do you ever feel overwhelmed with everything that you want to get done? I mean, there are things that NEED to be done (feed the kids), and there are things that will drive you crazy if they don't get done, but don't NEED to be done (dishes, clean house). Well, eventually the dishes NEED to be done or you won't have any.
So, I am just now feeling like we are through the holidays and I can get back into my routine. (Did I have one before the holidays?) I do have a clean house now and dishes are done, laundry going etc. I expect it to stay clean for a couple more minutes so I can blog. I have a headache; getting a cold. But I have to change my blog! Speaking of priorities.
So here's what has been happening at my house:
*Paige lost her first tooth. We told her she was a shark because a tooth grew in behind her baby teeth because it hadn't fallen out. The night she lost it, the tooth moved into it's rightful place. I was shocked it moved so fast.
*I finally made my chore chart! I know what you're thinking. Why is Avrie on there? Well, she will have chores eventually. And there is no way I will be making a new chore chart when that time comes. It took me long enough to make this one. I bought the metal board at IKEA ($12), used my Cricut to cut out their names on vinal, used those magnets that come on phone books (advertising things). I covered the magnets with scrapbook paper and ordered the chores from my friend Emily. She has a vinal web site: http://www.eaddesigns.com/
You can order anything you want in any color and size you want or she has tons of things already designed for you. She flattered me and asked me to design some things for her. I haven't done anything yet, but I am dying to get going.
*Oh...we did have a GREAT Christmas. I really cut back this year and didn't spend much on the kids, but they were all happy. I got a new wedding ring (technically for my anniversary). My old one broke and at Zales you can upgrade and trade in your old one, just like a car! Only diamonds don't loose value. I only have a picture on my phone right now. That will be another post.
*I am in the process of organizing my scrapbook supplies. I have a book (yes, a book) that is all about organizing scrapbook supplies. So I have been getting rid of things I don't use and organizing the things I do, or will use. I will take pictures of my stuff when I'm done.
*We are almost ready to start building our house. We have been busy getting things organized to get started. We will be getting the financing started next week (Thanks Jeff!) and our plans are getting altered to our liking right now. So hopefully we can start digging in a few weeks. I can hardly stand it, I'm so excited!
So I can't think of anything else right now. Good thing too, this is way to long! So until next time!
