Wait for it....

We are soooo close! The plan is to move in on the weekend of the 6th & 7th.
Cross your fingers and lets hope it stays that way.
Here is my beautiful Kitchen! The double ovens are not
put into place yet and neither is the cook top. The pantry door is still
longing to be hung. But it has come a long way fast, so I'm not complaining!
Here is the fireplace. I know, you needed me to specify.
It's not clean but I don't think you can tell from this picture.
I loooooovvvveeee the black mantle!
And this is what I can't wait to use! I just sit and sigh looking at this pic.
Ladies and Gentlemen...presenting Derek Zoolander!
Every time I pointed the camera, he would jump in and pose.
Look at his funny lips. It's Blue Steel!
This is my little laundry room/ mud room cubby build in.
Love it!
And here is my big, huge laundry sink.
It's great for bathing small, unsuspecting dogs!!
So here is a sampling of my new house.
I still have to do a lot of cleaning and there's a few things left to do, but you get the idea!
Until next time!!

Avrie Can Dance!

We have been so busy but I had to post this funny video of Avrie Dancing. That's her cousin, Ethan dancing with her. These two are about 2 months apart...Ethan is older.

We will be moving the last week of July!!!

Post of the house coming soon.

I love friends!

McKinley Jo, age 9

Paige almost 7 (he he)Brockston age 4

Avrie 14 months. How could I post just one?

I love having friends with talents. I just wish I had something to offer them.
All I have right now is PMS. No one wants me to share that talent!
Although, I must say, I have the whole ronchy thing mastered.
I have a PMS vitamin from GNC and it actually does work,
but only if you remember to take it!! Gosh.

So thank you Stacy once again. I only hope I can be a good friend like you someday!
Love your guts!!
PS...I can't wait to scrapbook these. My stuff is all packed away. Sniff.
I guess I can go digital for a month. Hmm I just thought of that.
I'm a genius!

Ooo! Hey check out my new design @ EAD. I can't wait to get one for my new house.

Florida...I highly recommend it!!

First off...The house. Look at it! Can you even believe it? It has been 8 weeks tomorrow since we started digging. Mudding and sanding will be done Saturday. Tile starts going in on Monday. Next is moulding, baseboards, closet build in's, doors...stuff like that. Next is painting...that's all I remember right now. We don't have an official date but we will be in by July sometime. That's 3 months! I still feel like I'm living in a dream. Can't wait to show you the finished product!!
And Florida!!! Ahhhhhhhh...
I could have used a couple more days laying on the beach.
These first two are at Longboat Key.
We stayed right on the beach. This was the view from the hotel. Not from our room, but down the hall. Our room wasn't facing the beach, those rooms were taken. But we did have a balcony and we could see the beach from there, but these were better views.
It was so beautiful and relaxing.
(No, we didn't take the kids, how would that be relaxing I ask you?)
Next we went to Sanibel Island, the 3rd best place in the world for collecting sea shells.
So we collected a lot. We got a lot of the same one's and a few different more unique shells.
Hmm, I should take pics of those...oh well.

We saw dolphins swimming off shore at the beach on Sanibel and it was so cool!!
And yes this is the best picture I have. See the little dark spots? That's them.
It was hard to catch them before they went back under. And they were moving and you didn't know when they were going to come back up or where. Tricky.

This is Brigam City, Floriday style.
It just reminded me of home in a tropical way.
So there is an update!
I have been busy picking things out for the house. It's moving along so quickly, I can't keep up with all the decisions. AND ~ I have to keep my house clean in case anyone wants to see it. I haven't placed an ad anywhere yet, um, you need time to do that. Also, apparently you need brains. My pictures are too big to put on KSL so I keep getting kicked out. So I need to re-size them, I just don't know how...hence the brains part. So while I should be placing an ad, I'm doing this instead...cuz i ain't got no brains!

Who's Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf?

It looks like a house now, huh?! That's little Brockston in that second pic.
He loves to go to the new house and talk to the builders.
He thinks they are sooooo cool! I happen to agree.
They are really nice...and fast!!
As we speak,(I know, we aren't really speaking)
they are doing the plumbing, finishing up the framing, and
putting all the vents in for heating & cooling.
~I'm used to being warmin the winter, my summers
will be a little more pleasant with AC.~
My kitchen is all marked out and I can visualize it even better.
Even now I feel like I'm talking about someone else's house, not mine.
I think I will be in shock even when I'm moved in for a while.
So there's an update on my beautiful pile of sticks!

EAD Designs Anniversary!!!

Okay...here they are! My new summer rub ons! Ya...I'm ready for summer. Not the hot, but no school. This time of year gets so crazy with everything that's going on, no school sounds very appealing.

So...do you want to win these? Okay, go to E.A.D. Designs Blog and become a follower, then come back here and leave me a comment. I'll pick a winner tomorrow...you know, in my spare time! I will have a winner chosen by random.org by midnight tomorrow, the 14th. Hey, don't rush me!

These new rub ons are sooooo fabulous because they don't break apart like regular rub ons, you can color in them and stay in the lines, (yes when I color, I am 4 all over again, I can't stay in the lines) AND they are cheap! Not the quality, obviously, but the cost! The sheet they come on is big! Everytime I get some new one's, I'm shocked at how big the sheet is for just $5.99. I cannot say enough good about them! And I don't have time to, so this works out great for everyone!!

So if you don't win...go buy them. There's soooo many choices and more to come.

Okay... ready, set, GO!

Never a Dull Moment

Brockston and Avrie got their pics taken recently because they had birthdays.
Avrie walks around 95% of her day with the "ooo" look. She can even whistle accidentally. I was very excited to have a picture of that! She didn't want to sit still so we tried a little diversion with the sunglasses.
And then there's Brockston. There were more funny pics than good framing pics...he's too much! Just so you know...he made those faces on purpose.
I just got back from the movies with Stacy. We went to
"17 again" I loved it! Go see it when you get a chance. Very fun!
Anyway, she took these pics. She's such a good friend and I love that my kids can be natural around her...otherwise we wouldn't have been able to capture this!
I still don't know how to make my words and pics look like I know what I'm doing. Whatever! You get the idea!

Also...the Incredible Hulk stopped by our house. What a character!
And then there's Avrie. Do you think she wants to get down?

Can you dig it?

This is it! It's really happening! They got it all excavated Thursday and the footings put in Friday. Tomorrow they will pour the foundation and have the basement floor in by the end of the week. Now all of this is probably boring to some of you, but for me this is my new house! I can't believe we are actually building a new house and we will actually live there! It hasn't ever been real and now it's real!
So for now, I'm enjoying my last few months in my tiny, little house and look forward to my new bigger house that we can all sit down at the table and eat together and Avrie will sleep in her own bed. Ya, you read that right. We have no room! And let's not forget 2 BATHROOMS upstairs...when the basement is finished...3. I will not even know what to do with myself!
So...to be continued.
