I got back from the Stampin Up! convention last night and I had a great time! I got a lot of free stuff and made a lot of new friends. I also got some great scrapbooking and card ideas and learned a few little tricks. It was fun and a nice break from every day life! A much needed break.
I obviously took Avrie with me and she was so much fun. Everyone would stop and talk to her and she would smile and work the crowd. It was pretty cute.
We did run into Thurl Bailey and he was kind enough to hold Avrie for a picture. Boy did she look tiny! Not very many people know he is on the board of directors at Stampin Up! I don't know what he does on the board but he was there.
Anyway, I'm home and I have big plans for re-decorating my living room. I will be sure to post pics when that gets going.
So...if anyone wants anything from Stampin' Up!, I can get it for you at a discount. That was information...not a sales pitch!
Avrie did get pretty tired and was ready to be home so she slept all night! Ooo I hope that turns into a habit! I was dripping wet when I got up in the morning, though. I am willing to sacrifice if she decides to do that again!

She looks a little nervous in that picture. I'm glad you had fun and got the needed break you needed. We didn't call Paige because I forgot that we were going to Lagoon. We'll call her this week!
Oh man, that dripping wet thing is miserable. I can remember oh so clearly. I can't wait to see what you do with your house. I want to come and see the before. And I want to come and see what kind of free goodies you got.
I had no idea that you were even going to this convention! It looks like you had fun. I think it is kinda crazy that Thurl Bailey is on the board for Stampin' up. ;)
She looks tiny compared to him. That was nice of him to snap a shot. It sounds like you had so much fun. If you guys all want to come up in October for the over-nighter, let me know.
