Brockston has 3 friends: Woody, George and Georgie. Woody is obvious. George is the brown gorilla, and Georgie is the orange orangatan. We have to be quiet when they are still sleeping in the morning. He takes very good care of his friends. You can see in the picture that he makes a little bed for them on the floor and puts them to bed. He also found my camera and took a pic of his computer game. Funny Boy!

Did you think I died?
Nope, I didn't die. But some days I wanted to. Do you ever feel overwhelmed with everything that you want to get done? I mean, there are things that NEED to be done (feed the kids), and there are things that will drive you crazy if they don't get done, but don't NEED to be done (dishes, clean house). Well, eventually the dishes NEED to be done or you won't have any.
So, I am just now feeling like we are through the holidays and I can get back into my routine. (Did I have one before the holidays?) I do have a clean house now and dishes are done, laundry going etc. I expect it to stay clean for a couple more minutes so I can blog. I have a headache; getting a cold. But I have to change my blog! Speaking of priorities.
So here's what has been happening at my house:
*Paige lost her first tooth. We told her she was a shark because a tooth grew in behind her baby teeth because it hadn't fallen out. The night she lost it, the tooth moved into it's rightful place. I was shocked it moved so fast.
*I finally made my chore chart! I know what you're thinking. Why is Avrie on there? Well, she will have chores eventually. And there is no way I will be making a new chore chart when that time comes. It took me long enough to make this one. I bought the metal board at IKEA ($12), used my Cricut to cut out their names on vinal, used those magnets that come on phone books (advertising things). I covered the magnets with scrapbook paper and ordered the chores from my friend Emily. She has a vinal web site: http://www.eaddesigns.com/
You can order anything you want in any color and size you want or she has tons of things already designed for you. She flattered me and asked me to design some things for her. I haven't done anything yet, but I am dying to get going.
*Oh...we did have a GREAT Christmas. I really cut back this year and didn't spend much on the kids, but they were all happy. I got a new wedding ring (technically for my anniversary). My old one broke and at Zales you can upgrade and trade in your old one, just like a car! Only diamonds don't loose value. I only have a picture on my phone right now. That will be another post.
*I am in the process of organizing my scrapbook supplies. I have a book (yes, a book) that is all about organizing scrapbook supplies. So I have been getting rid of things I don't use and organizing the things I do, or will use. I will take pictures of my stuff when I'm done.
*We are almost ready to start building our house. We have been busy getting things organized to get started. We will be getting the financing started next week (Thanks Jeff!) and our plans are getting altered to our liking right now. So hopefully we can start digging in a few weeks. I can hardly stand it, I'm so excited!
So I can't think of anything else right now. Good thing too, this is way to long! So until next time!

If you want a card, I need an address
So, I'm sending out my Christmas cards and I need addresses! I have some but if you haven't recieved one in previous years, you aren't on The List.
Leave your address in my comments or email me if you are more comfy doing that.
There is an underscore between my first and last name.
Thanks!

Tribute to Husbands
My wife has been on my case to get the Christmas lights up for a couple of weeks... they are up now and for some reason she will not talk to me.

I got this in an email from my friend Kelley and I LOVED it! Mostly because Glade doesn't do lights anymore. If I want it done, I have to do it myself. Then again, my friend Sherri's husband just became the new Elder's Quorum President...she said he has been asked to do stuff like this. Hmmm, not a bad idea!

Confession
I love Avrie's face in that picture. She kinda looks like she's had injections in her lips. And I think I look funny in the first so that's why these are here.
So I decided to create my own tag. I'm not exactly sure why, just wanted to. So do it if you want, or maybe even if you don't.
Here are a few things you might not know about me, not all favorite things about me but this is the way it is!
*I weigh: (gulp) 146 lbs.
*I want to weigh: 130 (I would love 125 but let's get real here!)
*I yell at my kids at my wits end. And then I feel bad and either cry or go talk to them about emotions or both.
*I have to have the bed made every day. If night comes and it hasn't been made, I have to make it before I get in. And Glade can't make it, he doesn't do it right.
*I look like I am dying of a disease if I don't have make-up on. Not a natural beauty.
*I have really bad PMS. I cannot be logical or rational during this beautiful time. This is usually when I yell at the kids and then cry about it. Glade can't do anything right when I feel this way.
*I haven't cooked consistently since Brockston was born. I used to have a menu planned for the month and followed it. Not anymore. Brockston will be 4 in March.
*I am high on drugs right now! Muscle relaxers for the kink in my upper back so I can move. I may regret this post when I'm sober!! (te he)
*I am a computer retard. I'm getting better, but I don't know what I'm doing most of the time.
*I have to ask for help when I am helping McKinley with her 3rd grade homework. (not all the time, but sometimes)
*We have been on time to church 3 times since Avrie was born. Sometimes I don't want to go, but I do.
*I hate doing dishes and laundry. I would rather scoop Sophie poop that do either of those. Luckily, Glade does the dishes when he is in town. Laundry is another story. It piles up to the point I have bought clothes for the kids cuz none of them were clean. My mom was here for a day and helped me while I have been unable to move. Thanks Mom!
And those are a few things about me that you might not have known and probably didn't want to know. Oh well, you take the good with the bad. Well, hopefully! If you know of any weird things I do, feel free to comment and tell me about them. I will probably think of more later, I will add them when I do. I wish we could be honest more often. This is just the way it is...not always peaches and cream!
But I have a great life and I love being me! I am simply fabulous!

Comic Relief
I caught Brockston watching TV with his underwear
on his head. They were clean by the way. Today he is doing great
going to the bathroom in the toilet, but lately, he just doesn't
care...so he had been wearing a pull-up. So this was the only
other thing to do with them I guess! Boys...sigh.

Continued
It was really fun watching Glade spray his facial hair white.
I was surpised when he did it. He's not a party pooper after all!
McKinley had grown tired of her wig.
She will probably never have long hair again.
It drove her crazy.
And poor Avrie had just grown tired.
And poor Avrie had just grown tired.

Party!
Here we are before the Halloween Party!
McKinley is Juliet, Paige is Elina (Barbie Movies),
Brockston (really, you don't know?), and
Avrie: our cute little bunny. We have a family
picture but it's on Dana's camera. So as soon as
I get it, I will post it. It was a fun party but I didn't
feel great. So I would have had more fun had I not
felt like my head would explode. (as i do now!)
Brockston wanted his monkey, George, to have
a costume too, so we pinned a red
towel to him and he was Superman too!
